Step 1

Take a radial section from the top of each ear, through the crown. Divide the front section into two equal sections. Left and right.

Step 2

Starting at the front hairline, work in diagonal slicing sections towards the crown. Back comb the roots and apply Formula A on the lengths in a freehand technique. Repeat on the other side.

Step 3

Create a hexagon section on the top of the head. Leaving out the sides and back. On the side sections leave the natural root and blend Formula B onto the lengths.

Step 4

On the top section, leave the natural root and blend Formula C onto the lengths.*

*After development time shampoo the hair using Visible Repair Shampoo and Visible Repair In-Salon Treatment to complete the pre-lightening service.

ALEXEY'S STYLING TIP:

Step 1

Create a cross parting. Make two rectangular sections on the top of the head. Create two rectangular sections on the crown. Leaving one section at the back and one at each side.

Step 2

Vertically elevate all of the hair in the back section and blunt cut horizontally. Repeat the same on the side sections.

Step 3

For the crown sections, vertically elevate all of the hair and blunt cut horizontally. Leaving a disconnection of the back and sides.

Step 4

For the two sections on the top of the head, elevate vertically and over direct back to the crown section. Blunt cut.

Step 5

Section the fringe into a symmetrical triangle. Over direct to the left, cut. Then over direct to the right, cut. Ensure you personalize the section pattern to your clients face shape. This cut also works if you use a shallow pointcutting technique.

Preparation for Styling:

Boost your volume by misting Protect It – Volumizing Heat Protection Spray from root to tip before blow-drying.

TIP 1:

My best tip for creating volume without the frizz? Use a flat brush to blow-dry the hair up towards the crown area until completely dry. Finishing touch: Boost texture at the roots with Refresh It-Dry Shampoo. Lock in your style with Fix It- Strong Hold Spray.
